Hello everyone. New here and love this forum which I happened to stumble across the other day. So many interesting threads/pics. I am an adopted brummie, moved here aged 12 due to my dads job and been here ever since. 30 years so consider myself a brummie! Have always been fascinated by Old Brum, even as a kid.
Hello Zebra Welcome to brummies talking its nice to have you with us and glad you enjoy our site, make yourself at home and I look forward to getting to know you. I'm sure after 30 years you have earned your stripes. Sheldonboy. (SB)
Hi, thanks everyone for your welcome's. Phil, I was born in Oxford, my dad was studying, then then he did a further course at Warwick uni, so we lived in Coventry, then near Evesham aged 7 to 12 then Brum. Lived out in the sticks of South Brum but gradually moved into the suburbs over the years! Good to see honorary brummies and brummies who have left on here!
hello zebra and warm welcome from me too....be nice to know what areas in brum you lived and when as there maybe some old pics of it on here... if not we can try and find some for you....
I have mostly lived around Kings Norton area, first in the sticks at Forhill where my dad worked, thought I would always stay in KN, recently moved to Yardley Wood and am suprised I seem to feel settled here!
