Just a reminder everyone especially All New Members.
Anyone requiring a FREE Brummies Talking email address all you have to do is ask Voltman. Unless you know the person you are dealing with it is unwise to use your own email address. For new members Voltman is our Technical Administrator. Anyone needing any Technical advice can PM Volty and he will be only too happy to help.

Just to clarify...

We have the domain brummiestalking.org.uk.
I can create throwaway email addresses at this domain and then point them, i.e. messages will be automatically forwarded, to a members own email address.
This negates the need to give out ones own email address for general internet interactions, particularly if your email address is the one provided by your ISP.
The new address can be used for casual and forum purposes. Should the address I give you start to attract too much junk, it can be deleted or changed, allowing a fresh start without the spam.

Just PM me to request your address, giving the name you wish to use. The form will be YOURNAME@brummiestalking.org.uk
Addresses will only be pointed at the members verified address given when joining the forum.
Confirmation of the address will be sent to your new address, a reply to myself to confirm that the address is forwarding correctly would be appreciated.
