i heard about the bounty SB..just hoping the storm does not change direction and head our rachels way...was talking to her for ages this afternoon and we were both watching sky news at the same time...ive never seen waves like it..very worrying for those living close to where it will hit land later on...

Lyn

I see Susan C logged on sometime today, so she must be OK. perhaps she logged on to answer Lynne so maybe she will let us know if Susan is safe and OK. I'm sure we all wish her the best and to keep safe during this storm.

I have received a reply from Susan, luckily she lives on higher ground so is not flooded but several cities are under water, she said the bay and the ocean are joined now. The winds are 70-80 mph now. They must be devastated but at least they are safe.

The thing is they have had plenty of warning and all those in the danger areas have been shipped out to higher ground. So in reality (hopefully) it will only be the foolish who are endangered. Although I suppose the damage to property will be devastating.
