I didn't realise that Measles was still around. I had Measles really bad when I was a kid. I was taken on the back of my Brother in laws motor scooter over to Great Barr to stay for a while in the summer holidays. The first morning my sister woke me up and I was covered in a rash, in my eyes, ears everywhere. Another Brother in law, came over later that day in his car to collect me. It was the shortest holiday I ever had. I was very sick for around two weeks.
Yes it is not nice. Mind you when i was young it was almost accepted that you had a fair chance of catching it. The vaccines have reduced the chance and, if only people would not follow the ravings of anti-vaccination morons, would virtually, and possibly completely eliminate it. The trouble is various obnoxious political right-wing groups like Trump supporters, and apparently some UKIP propagandists (https://edition.cnn.com/2018/08/20/opini...intl/index.html), who care little for the truth, promote this anti-scientific attitude on principal.
