Probably Debretts as it " is recommended as a must see event by Debrett’s, the authority on all matters of taste" according to the Visit Cornwall website. It certainly does not attract me and the thought of "Andy Marshall, ‘Cornwall’s Frank Sinatra’" fills me with horror. Coming originally from Chichester I have a fair bit of experience of "sailing" people in my youth, and a large proportion of them, then at least, were stuck up, boring opinionated prats .

Well said Mike.
I can't understand how anyone could be making plastic confetti, let alone buying it and throwing it into the sea.
The clean up will no doubt be helped by fish and other marine life eating the stuff.

According to the report it was the town band that fired it off, an odd thing for a band to take upon themselves, even if they are a bunch of fancy dress drunks.
