Hi Astwood
Welcome, we are no secret and you are most welcome here. How did you find us, was it on Google I don't want to get accused of poaching members for this forum or else I would have invited you long ago.

Welcome Astwood,my daughter owns the old Forge in Jiggins Lane.
I lived in Northfield for over 20 odd years.
My two local watering holes were The Beeches and the Highlander, with an occasional foray into the Wood cock.

I like your similarity astwood, it's a nice comfortable place to be, but I wouldn't touch the beer and some of the custumers leave a bit to be desired.

Astwood £2 a pint was that in this decade. I bought two pints of lager and a coke in brum on Saturday and it cost me £7.45.
