Speeding Is Out Of Control

The few remaining real police can't spare the time to fight road crime, especially if it is one that kills the innocent every day.
Oddly enough though, if one volunteer offers to hold the speed camera the police can spare two Community Officers.

And what devastating action is taken against the murderous speeding drivers?
A warning letter. Much better, apparently, than fining them or taking up valuable court time to uphold the law of the land and reduce road deaths.
If it works then all power, or lack of it, to the volunteers. I rather suspect that the worst offenders are those who don't give a toss, polite letters aren't going to slow them down.
