not trying to be controversial honestly,

it is terrible what is happening in egypt and syria. do you not think that if we ever decided we wanted to change our establishment and took to the streets that the guns would not be turned on us.

we are allowed in this country, democracy they call it, but what democracy have we, no one who voted actually gained an all out majority, to demonstrate peacefully, but where does that get you, they take no notice, so if say we took to more demonstrative methods to get our message across that enough was enough, they the establishment would not bring out the weapons.

I think the main difference between us and Egypt, etc, is that they are already ruled and kept in order by their military.
Our armed forces are not about start firing on their own families so we are in a completely different position.
