There are times when I am positively ashamed of my country.
America has got Troublesome Trump and Russia has RasPUTIN. The Chinese must be Laughing their Sampans off.

I doubt the Chinese can really be looking forward to a dictatorship.

One thing about modern politics that wasn't present forty years ago is the openness of much that goes on.

Politicians today use social media like Churchill would have used Top Secret documents in his time.
The result is that we see everything. The press have lost their way, when they aren't reporting on their favourite topic of failure are more likely to report on a politicians intestines that what they have just done for their country.

Politicians are a certain type of person and, in my opinion, have always been the same self serving clowns they are now, we just didn't get to see it.

Like all the celebs that get involved in politics, Izzard is misguided, amongst other things.
