The church needs to face the realities of life now and again.

On the news this morning 5 am the cathedral is now closed, and a spokesperson for the protesters said they will be there until Christmas.

Serves St Pauls right for being so wishy washy liberal.
Tear gas, water cannon and beat the crap out of them, who do they think they are, pretending to speak for the rest of us?

I fully support the protest. Our political leaders need hanging.

I'm all for protests but so many are young people capable of working that if they intend to stay till Christmas then any government funding should be removed. I'm not paying my taxes to fund this sort of time wasting. What, I wonder does it achieve? If a cause really matters we should ALL be protesting not just a handful of professional agitators. Far more important to me are the graspers behind our utility costs who are screwing us to the floor while other countries gas and electric is subsidised by us. We should be shouting at what they are doing now not what happened two or more years ago. Why isn't David Cameron saying something about the boss of British Gas being paid in salary and bonuses £4,000,000. And that's saying nothing about what the shareholders are getting. I'm getting increasingly angry about what's going on

I don't know why we even have a government. Apparently, everyone wants to get rid of the "Present" government", it matters not who and when.
I think protesting against a duly elected government should be an offence in itself. Doing it at the cost of another citizen should carry a severe penalty.

Very true but that seems to happen a lot. I suppose it could be said it isn't as unelected as the competition.

But the competition doesn't need to be elected. Thats the whole point.

They would need to be if they wanted to be called government. I rather suspect they would like to be called Government, they have even elected a new King Rat to lead them to victory and paradise.

I thought they were protesting against business practices in the City of London and their interference in Council affairs and not against the government?
