Will they go under?

I sincerely hope so.
They should have stuck to construction instead of stealing ALL the work from the little guys.

If the government use my money to bail them out I will no longer be a tax payer.
I barely am anyway since Carillion started getting all the work.

Are all your assets in the cayman islands then Volty?
Must say I have no sympathy with Carillion, their owners or those who invested in them, but will probab ly cause even slower end to disruption in Birmingham . Ghey were supposed to be doing HS2 and , from the signs , they are doing the mess that surrounds what was the old library

No Mike, I don't even know where it is.

Anyway I probably won't have to retire penniless now.

Do Carillion make a difference to you Volty?

That name Carrillion does ring a bell.

I have to admit that until recently I had no idea about how powerful Carrilion were or even what they did. Neither I suspect did most people. It would be interesting to know if palms were greased.

Would think here was no doubt about that, whether business, local government or especially those in government. Government ministers and local authorities who even considered giving them business after it was clear that the firm was in effect bankrupt should be prosecuted and made bankrupt themselves. Unfortunately the weather is not good - the sky is full of flying pigs !

SB, you may be thinking of the Carillon at Bournville, it's a 38 bell keyboard type instrument.
