Do you remember the story of Hanna ,one winter too many?.She lived alone in a Yorkshire farmhouse and her story was documented for TV,ages ago now.Because she never used any modern farming methods she had several old native wild flowers growing that had died out in many areas.I think one of her meadows was bought so this natrual habitat could be continued.
Yes it's a shame that we don't see so many wild flowers now, Even in the woods you rarely see bluebells any more. At one every local wood or copse was called Bluebell Wood.
