I no longer want to be associated with Birmingham.
But as I don't wish to move I would like Birmingham to be renamed.
My time is money, I can lend you 10 minutes for lunch.

How about "Manynames" or "Strangnames" because with all these name changes we soon won't know where we are. I thought it bad enough when they changed the Bullring to Bull Ring, but changing the Gun Quarter to St George & St Chads is political correctness gone crazy.

Phil I suggest that the Council will call an area whatever they like. I also suggest that Brummies will call that area The Gun Quarter for many years yet. Sometime in the future some councillor with an interest in Brum history will probably have the name changed back.

Who can tell me where St Georges is or was located. St Chads I know, but the next nearest church was surely St Mary's in Whithall St?

Yes I knew where St Georges in Hockley was, but Hockley and the Jewellery Quarter is hardly the Gun Quarter of Steelhouse Lane, Loveday, St and around that area is it?

Sorry if I sounded a bit sharp I realise you were trying to help, but you should be used to me by now. When Birmingham Council wants to do stupid things for no good reason it just annoys me. So I go around like a bear with a sore head.
