"Finance not my problem" George Osborne

#1 by phil ( deleted ) , Fri Jul 08, 2011 10:19 am

George Osborne said the other day in Parliament "If you are relying on the Chancellor to be there day in and day out to ensure financial stability, it is just not going to happen"

Tell us something new George, but pray also tell us what your job actually is? It seems that he is now saying that is not his job to keep a check on greedy bankers. Or is he admitting that he can't and/or just can't be bothered because it gets him too much flack.

His job, as secretly given to him by Cameron, is to let the bankers and his other mates get away with as much as possible - SEEMPLE, as the meerkats say

I really don't see what the problem is.
The government make our laws.
We have financial experts to safely run our banking system.
Our Police and the Court system uphold our Laws and keep us safe.
Our Councils make a nice place for us to live in.
Our Newspapers keep us informed and report any wrongdoing.
Our teachers and Schools educate our children in a safe environment.
Our children pass exams and go to university.
There they get a degree and get a job as an MP, Police Officer,Teacher or Lawyer.
What could go Wrong.?

I think George Osborne has a memory problem. He's so busy thinking about his holidays he's forgotten 1. that he's actually employed and 2. what he's supposed to be doing and where. Hence he's totally forgotten the bankers did anything.

Good Evening Handlebar
You'll be saying next that he doesn't belong in the government.

I thought he was a wicked Lib dem rumour till I actually saw him last night staring mindlessly into space. Old Mother Riley could do a better job. I said to my wife 'spending cuts should only be introduced once the economy is clearly recovering'. This morning I opened the Mirror and read the following: (quote) 'spending cuts should only be introduced once the economy is clearly recovering'. (end quote) To think president Clinton agrees with me. Astonishing and truly humbling. i SHALL BE MAKING FURTHER PRONOUNCEMENTS THAT HE WILL ENDORSE IN DUE COURSE!!

Something I have repeatedly said to people over many years that Worrying solves nothing. You should care about things but never worry, it will only make you ill or spoil your life.
But in the case of our Absolutely Desperate Government and the sad sorry state of our country. I am worried sick. SB

I think we should form
The Brummies Talking Poverty, Misgovernment and Misinformation Action Society
We could build a Jungle training camp in Small Heath Park.
We need sixty thousand Silver surfers to spread the word.
Then have everyone trained in the marshal arts.
Then we can take on London.
If this message is printed in the last edition of The News of the World, we will know we have been rumbled.[Little LOL]
