Look the last Tory lot we had in power in this country were satisfied with ruining our industry, but this lot will not be happy until they have ruined everything else.

According to the Mirror this morning: 'Universities could be handed over to private firms and run for profit under plans to be announced this week. The Government wants to let companies set up or take over existing colleges and offer student loans'. (end quote) So it seems the answer is yes. Wealthy companies or individuals will move in and milk the system for every penny going assisted no doubt by government sweeteners to encourage them. Perhaps it would be cheaper to flog them all off to the highest bidder. Instant cash!

Surely any business where the customer base is almost entirely composed of students is doomed to failure?
Except for bars and cafes perhaps.
