MP's Redundancy Bundles

You may have been glad to see the back of the last government, not because of any political persuasion. More likely because you thought well that’s the last parliament where they are going to be able to fiddle their expenses.

So you might not be pleased to hear that they went on claiming up to the bitter end, claiming another £90 Million in the run up to the general election. Even Jim Devine and David Chaytor were allowed to continue claiming after they were charged with fiddling. Why were they not barred from claiming any more?

Add to the £90 Million the £6.8 Million claimed the 221 retiring MP’s claimed to close down their offices and the £10.3 Million golden handshakes that they got.

So all in all it’s not hard to see why they are queuing up to get on the gravy train.

This is of course the Government that sends our troops around the world to get rid of Corrupt Governments.
No wonder this country is the joke of the world. SB
