It's a shame ( on many levels) that his passing was eclipsed by a major upset but I feel sure many people will discover and rediscover a true English gent in the weeks to come.
I just stole one of his quotes off the www. "Teach love, generosity and good manners and some of that will drift from the classroom to the home and who knows, the children will be educating the parents."
I well remember Sir Roger as Sir Ivanhoe. Started in 1958 a wonderful series for a kid growing up to watch and there were 30 episodes altogether. A great actor well missed.
