Evening all ,most of today in the garden ,about an hour ago we had a bad thunder storm,it was so  dark at  6-30  we had to put our lights on .

Hi lynne ,jan is very nervous of thunder storm's ,so it effects her badly ,and I  sympathise with her ,I know she can't help it.

I don't like thunder and lightning either, my daughter really hates it, she hides till it passes over..

I  suppose i'm  lucky it dos'nt bother me at all ,but I know lightning can be so dangerous ,I saw a  really  big tree lifted right out of the ground with one lightning strike,lucky no one was near it at the time.

I  read somewhere if  you could catch the energy from  one lightning strike ,it would be enough to keep one small town  supplied with electricity for three months ,thats a lot of power.
