SB. don't know if she is your MP (very vague about parliamentary boundaries, but in this article, she sounds like a genuine person rather than a self-seeking automaton like most MPs (including the ones down here)

She is our MP. Have never seen her anywhere, I believe she hides away at her secret address.
Hemming was always to be found lurking somewhere public or playing in his band, for charity, mostly for Macmillan Nurses.

I have just received a questionnaire from her asking my opinion on a few matters.
To assist the peasants that support her, it is a multiple choice questionnaire.
Not so much about my opinion, far more about which of her opinions I prefer.
Binned it.

All I get from the article is that she has a foul mouth and no patience.
Sounds just like me.
Do you agree with me, or, do you not disagree with me? Your choice.

I agree with you in principle but disagree totally out of habit.

I like this quote ....
She has publicly condemned her own party’s deep-rooted sexism, and during a Commons speech in a tampon tax debate delivered the memorable line, “Every man sitting in this house is now here because, at some point, his mother had a period.”
I thought, and still do, that it was because at some point "mother" didn't.

Here's a very one sided six minute televisual treat from the lady herself...

"Jess Phillips reads names of women 'killed by male violence'"

I only watched it to see if her own name was on the list she read out to an empty house.

Our MP. My God some people used to moan about John Hemming (Lib Dem Yardley) at least John cared about his area. I wouldn't give this woman house room.
