Fly tipping has been a major problem for years. Some people are just filthy and don't care. Some are just too tight to pay the going rate to shift it. In some areas the Councils have shut some tips and leave the public to find their own places. Now it is being reported that fly Tipping costs Councils £50m per year to clear it up. What is your area like I must say ours is quite reasonable
Fly tipping is just an anti social offence, anyone caught should be severely dealt with. Mind you Murderers and rapists don't get severely dealt with by our weak kneed court system.
We have a big playing field and mountain bike track just 2 minutes walk from us ,travellers got on there and ruined it, and the bike track in the time it took to get a eviction order ,two bin wagons full of rubbish had to be removed, before the kids could go back on it.
if you want to see fly tipping i will show it you...i shall be going down the old end sometime this week and will take some photos...you just wont believe it..

That's just the local's crap. There's no room for flytipping.
Quote: Slow Jo wrote in post #12A member of the council told me sometime back ,tipping on a council site costs forty pounds a ton ,so you can see why they do it, if that was right.
That's no excuse at all, these people charge much more than that to take it away. It's up to the people whose rubbish it in the first place to ensure that it gets disposed of properly, after all, it's them that will get fined if there is any evidence of where it came from.
Anyway £40 per ton sounds quite cheap compared to manhandling to load and unload it.

volty dont you believe it...you dont go into areas i do..i see it first hand..i have never been a great fan of bcc but on this occasion i cant blame them...i dont just see general food waste dumped to rot when the dirty buggers refuse to use the wheelies provided..i see piles upon piles of household items ie settees..fridges..washing machines..cookers.tumble dryers...dirty rotting mattresses..you name it they dump it and they dump it on the main streets and roads and at the backs of buildings.i can then go around the same places weeks later and the same stuff is still there but added to..as i said i will shortly be able to provide photos...and some folk have the cheek to say i was a slum person and came out of a slum area something i take a great objection to..if they researched the history enough they would know that it was the housing that were slums not the people who lived in them..unlike today where the dirty unwashed couldnt give a dam about cleanliness ...absolutely no way did we have this problems during my childhood...folk couldnt afford to throw half decent stuff out then...i am fuming again so will finish now..
