No more need to worry now
The Labour party are set to announce their new leader.

I'm not really interested in whoever they name as the new leader of the Labour Party, because they have nobody fit the fill the shoes of some of the greats who have held the position.

I would be more interested in what type of politics they intend to pursue. I would be very interested in seeing if it is just a continuation of TB & GB Nu Labour.

I wouldn't like to say, it seem all the high echelon of the Labour party still think it's a vote winner. After all didn't Tony say without it the party would not stand a chance in the next election whenever that may be.

At least next time it will be a two horse race, because there is no Lib Dem party any longer. In fact all we seem to have at the moment are Tories, Half Baked Tories (Libdems) and weak kneed Tories (Nu Labour).

We need a strong opposition and just look at what we have got.

Can anybody tell me how we have ended up with a young lad just out of school who has been in politics for less time than I have had my best suit as leader of the Labour Party. How in the name of any god you care to mention is he going to save the labour party.

They will tear him to pieces and send him home crying to his mom. I hope for the country's sake I'm wrong and there is a lot more to him than meets the eye.

Phil, when I said we are saved. That was tongue in cheek, the leader hadn't been announced then. I don't think Labour have anyone fit to run the country, if they had they would have challenged Brown.

Can you look at the house of commons and out of the current total of 647 MP's and name me one MP of stature that you think it fit to be the leader of this country. Because in all honesty I can't.
