Not the world Astoness, just a few petty, power mad bureaucrats who, for now, work for BCC.
The Trust should apply on a grave by grave basis and overload the council with work.

Alternatively there appears to be nothing to stop them from continuing to do a write up of the graves but instead of photographs of the stones they could make rubbings of them and then scan or photograph the rubbings.
Or they could provide detailed written descriptions or drawings or paintings, etc.

after posting this on another forum i am a member of one of our members decided to write to ask what the hell was going on...this was the reply he received from councillor peter osborn...seems like common sense has prevailed as i could see a big stink up if this idea had continued...below is the reply from the council..job done..


Thanks David for your interest. I raised this matter at the top level. The leader spoke with the chief executive, and by yesterday afternoon they issued a statement that the restrictions were now lifted. QED.
