Finding information about Registration Districts in and around Birmingham:

Since its instigation in 1837 many of the boundaries of civil registration districts have changed and also the Registry offices that served them. Some districts were amalgamated or the records were transferred.

The Birmingham Archives and Heritage service keep a list of all the local Registry offices and the areas they cover.
