Sunny and bright here,no frost on any of the cars,despite what they were jibbering on about last night on the weather forecast,think I could do a better job.

I think the South Downs stops a lot of the inclement weather getting here,you can drive up the A23 from Brighton on clear roads, and once over the downs you'd think you were in another country,roads covered in snow.

It's usually warmer in the south of countries on this side of the planet, that's why people like to head south when they retire. Some never retire of course.

According to my computer it is still -7 at Birmingham Airport at the moment, well I'm not that far away from there and it feels the same here.

I don't blame you, I only got out this morning to take the wife to the sons house. I've got to go and pick her up again shortly, at least I have had my surreptitious bacon sarni on crusty bread.

morning all, must admit i do miss taking out the dog - never replaced my little one that passed away nearly two years ago. it certainly got you going in the mornings, now i tend to vegitate a bit.

must make the effort to do some walking along the canals, that s nice this time of the year.

cold and crips here.

Just been shopping for a couple of hours, beautiful sunny ,clear day .
I've come to the conclusion that a lot of the colds people get are through walking in and out of these vastly overheated shops and back into the cold again, some of them are like ovens.

I must admit that I feel stifled and overheated in some of these shops, but there again it is probably my dislike of crowds that is more to blame.
