Its pretty windy here just been out to the sons to give him a hand with a little job he is doing at home and I was nearly blown inside out.
Retirement is wonderful. It's doing nothing without worrying about getting caught at it.
afternoon all
#lovely blustery day here just going to walk around the arrow valley lake.
for all you suffering out there with colds and cant shift it, you need zinc as well as vit c. try euchanasia(dont think its spelt that way but it is phonetic) should boost your immune system. also try the fruit juice from any supermarkets marked 'boost your immune system'. i have fibromyalgia and have started drinking just one glass in the morning of the juice that has added magnesium and i feel so much better, it is to fight the fatigue. the juice is just pomegranet, passion fruit, bananas etc. worth a try, only £2.55 a carton. i do understand tho that if you are working and catching buses the germs spread.
get well soon all

Steph I though for a moment you were advocating euthanasia as a cure for the common cold.
i might be for some people but not always for a cold phil. echanasia might be the way its spelt.
paid a visit to wythall animal sanctuary on sunday and took the dogs bedding, blankets, towels, toys and tins of food, the sanctuary were so grateful and have a notice up asking for blankets etc.
found it hard tho, could hear a dog barking which sounded just like my dog, it was hard to walk away and get in the car as i felt as if i was leaving him behind. will get another dog one day but not just yet.

I hate people who use metaphors that are physically impossible.
They make my blood boil.
