Hello Denise, I met Roy Orbison when he was coming out of the Grand Hotel in Colmore Row,he had a taxi waiting but still took time to talk to us, I cant remember anything he said, I think I was starstruck. No one believed our excuse for being late back to work. Lovely man.

I watched most of that concert with the Big "O" last night, Something worth watching television for. I assume thats what you were listening to. I saw Orbison live on almost all of his trips to Birmingham. One thing you could guarantee and that was he was no different live than he was in record. Not like some live acts I have walked out on in the past.
