Mike, it appears to come from the sender no matter who you put in the "TO" box. The sender ID is something that is built into the send facility in email programs and is not easily modified. You can choose different accounts to send from but they are still all yours and unless your are up to no good you will be known to your recipients.

Signman,
I think you may have been a bit hasty about the Touchpad's Kindle App.
From what I have read on the subject and my experience with the Kindle App on my iPad I think the real Kindle is much more suited to the purpose, especially for reading more than a few pages at a time.
The Kindle has a paper looking screen which is easy to read in all lights and (in the ones I have used) is not touch sensitive. It also has a long battery life, is light and has page turning controls that do not require large hand movements.
Tablets are mostly difficult to read in any kind of sunlight, heavy in weight as well as on battery use, the touch sensitive screen is easily touched accidentally, causing spurious results such as jumping back and forth through the pages and there are no nice pictures on screen when in standby.

Good morning everyone, a slow start for me today. We have a funeral to attend later of an old family friend. A burial too and looking at the weather........................
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

Who is this Pete then Phil?
I still only read books in the old fashioned way and even then I have trouble with holding the things.
My latest read was "At Home, A Short History of Private Life" by Bill Bryson, at 700 pages it is quite heavy, even so I couldn't put it down it is packed with interesting historical stuff.

I still read books, but I bought it for travel and holidays, instead of carting a dozen books around I can store them on the tablet.
Volty, agree as regards screen in sunlight, but what I like about the tablet, it shows everything in full colour, whereas the kindle only shows
pictures in b/w., and, I can use any photo as an image on the home page, plus accessing this site and the internet on the go,
battery life is 4 hours, which I think is pretty good, some laptops only give that.
Morning All
Windy and still raining here and the sky is full of it roll on next summer
