Evening lyn ,thanks for thinking about jan ,sure she will be allright in a day or so ,if bru'm council cut any more you'll be empting your own bins and cleaning your own streets.

Don't know if you remember radio luxembourg,many years ago,they had a childrens programme sponsored by ovaltine, every time it was on they sang the ovaltines song at the start and the finish,don't think your old enough to remember that.

i remember the adds on tv jo...and i remembers mrs dales diary and the archers on the radio..and wakey wey ho...

think that was billy cotton...

This goe's back to about the 50s just as telly was getting going again after the war years,a bit to early for you I think, I just about remember it ,but I still know most of the ovaltinies song.

My sister used to have Radio luck Lucky Luxemberg on everynight. It was the only way to hear the new music. No Radio One, Two Three or Four in those days. Remember Horace Batchelor from Keynsham spelled K E Y N S H A M.
