Good evening everyone. I took a days holiday today, my wife's big rabbit died last night and I had to get it's body to the vet's to be sent for cremation. You are not allowed to bury them as the can attract foxes. As it weighs around 14Lbs you can imagine the health problems it can bring in the temperatures we have at the moment.
Quote: Slow Jo wrote in post #29340Sorry to hear about you losing your pet S B it's not nice they become part of your family,I admit I shed a few quiet tears when my dog went.
Thanks Jo yes it's a shame he was so tame even though he was a stone in weight.
Quote: Slow Jo wrote in post #29343The only rabbit I saw about that weight ,was one breed called a flemish giant,he was a beauty, never seen one as big since.
this one was an English Giant, there is also a French giant they can be much bigger than ours.
My wife has just called me outside she has just spotted another dead fish, a large Goldfish this time, that's three in less than two weeks. Bloody hot weather is a nightmare.
Not having any luck with your pets mate,it's suprising how weather can effect them,a fishing pool by where we live they have a pump they can start up it ,sprays the water into the air it's suppose to replace the oxygen in the water, dont know if hose pipe would help, maybe worth a try .

You are right Joe It's something I have been doing I'll just have to do it more.
