G'Day Maam.

hi one and all, I am back one deck again after a great holiday on the beautiful island of Bali, It was the first time I have been back for 18 years, it has not changed as much as I had expected, clearly the standard of living has improved, far more cars on the road, and in some place better roads. But Sanur I am happy to say still has the love and warmth that Balinese people show to tourists. Boy it is cheap, a 2 ltr bottle of coke was 99c in Oz its $2, we ate in good hotels three meals a day , drinks with meals, but odds and sods and I spent a grand total of $225 for three of us. It would cost me that for one meal in Melbourne. So I have been back at work for 2 weeks sadly my wifes aunt (87) got much worse health wise since we returned and she passed away last friday with funeral yesterday, hence I have not been around. However im back, you have my attention until 7 th march when we off on a south pacific cruise. So I hope you had a happy holiday season, and its not been two cold. last week we had a scorcher 45C, now I like it hot, but that was a bit over the tops, its been pleasant today 31c, cool tomorrow and sat 23c the heating up should have 5 days over 30c with wed being 39c. thats it im off to do the quiz

I was sat in the lounge tonight after tea when I heard a helicopter, that's not unusual as the water police maritime search and rescue centre is almost opposite us, but then there were[[File:IMG_9331.JPG|left|auto]] two, on inspection one helicopter was filming the other, and when you see the photo I snapped you will see why I was so surprised
