Do you like the brummie accent. I am a brummie and hate the accent when I hear it on the tele it me cringe.

I should be very careful brerrating The Brummie accent on here, you may find yourself transferred to the Glasgow forum then you will have an accent to ponder over pal.

well im a brummie born and bred and proud of it and i have no problem at all with listening to our accent and i can only say to those who do...gerr orf down yer own end.. [Hammers]

Some times a Brummie accent on tv will make me cringe but then I don't like the sound of my own recorded voice, never have, even when I was a kid and didn't realise I had an accent. I still don't think I have an accent but others assure me that I do.
It probably doesn't sound the same to non Brummies.

well mitz i have 2 very different sons..both bikers but the eldest wont go out in the rain so he is tucked up on war craft and the other has gone off to oxford...its raining over this way..
