how silly jo..i know we have to have progress but it dont mean to say we have to like it..
Jo I was brought up with pounds feet and gallons but trust me when you get used to it metric is so much easier, especially when it comes to mental arithmetic.

Evening all, another decent day weather wise,done a bit of weeding ,and dead heading daffs,we got one hyacinth it's a deep purple first one i've seen this colour.

hi jo...ive still got to get more bedding plants yet..i like a bit of colour in the garden..
We use to grow seeds in the green house but one frost and no heater in there ,you lose most of them,so we get our's of the friday market,we are trying to get shrubs mostly so you don't have to keep replaceing every year. Got 4 buddlia bushes they grow quite tall and butterflies go for them in a big way.
