trollys are still running mike but i think they bring them out on the busier times and better weather...normals buses and other vehicles are running up and down every day though..went down the coal mines last year must admit it was a real eye opener as to the conditions they worked under which brings to mind this young rellie of mind who lost his life working the mines in 1885...

Quote: astoness wrote in post #32594morning all even though no one is here lol...had a lovely day yesterday...first thing down the crem to put flowers down for mom then onto the the black country museum for a couple of hours..a tad nippy but wrapped up...no problem warming up as all the houses had the coal fires on the go so warmed up in those lol...usual fish and chips which were out of this world...had cards.. flowers...choccies and a new purse off the kids here..have to wait a bit longer for our rachel and wills pressie ..they are having a special ring made in usa for me and its not ready yet..oh and my son john was going to treat me to a chinese take away but after the fish and chips...a large piece of beetroot bread pudding and some choccies i couldnt manage it so will have that another night..so all in all a good day...

Evening all ,sounds like you had a good day yesterday lyn ,good for you. looked out the window this morning like a birds conference ,wood pigeons, magpies and a pair of crow's all after the food on the bird table.
hi jo..yes a good day all round yesterday...strange you should say that ive had all those birds in the garden this morning plus the blue tits..great tits and sparrows...it was manic
Hi lyn ,my wife feeds them the same time each morning ,you can see them waiting on the roof's and on the fence ,this one blackbird follows her down the garden ,and is first on the table ,making sure he get's his share.

thats smashing jo...i had a male and female blackbird for a couple of weeks but can now only see the male so i wonder if the female is nest sitting..
She could be sitting on eggs lyn it is half way through march,last friday had a sparrow hawk come down in our garden, went out sent him packing ,lost a baby blackbird to one last year.
