Evening all very rough weather the last couple of days

evening astwood yes a very nasty day...i had the shock of my life this morning at about 9.30...i was standing looking out of the back kitchen door when all of a sudden this massive heron landed right on me lawn..only stayed about 5 seconds and he was off again...no time to get camera...

astwood a few years back we had a regular heron who for months used to sit and rest for about half an hour in the tree 3 doors up from us...then he stopped turning up...most unusual though..i shall be on heron watch from now on

Evening all ,being cleaning out the bird bath,the crows and magpie dump the bread init to soften it ,then take it to feed there young.
