Where to find the General Registrar indexes of Birth, Marriage and Deaths

You can view General Registrar indexes either in person at county record offices, some larger libraries and the local Latterday Saints History centres. You can also access GRO Indexes on line through several specialist organisations.

Although coverage is incomplete at present, the site is continually being updated with new information. To check if the year you want to search has been indexed and is available to search there are graphs available from the home page denoting the completed years of Birth, Marriages and Deaths.
