I would have thought it a bit difficult to sterilise a saxaphone, before bringing it into the theatre

When you think of all the big things in an operating theatre, tables, shelf trolleys, etc, they must have some way of sterilising large kit.

But Volty, the tables, trolleys etc are all fairly flat and easily sterilized with bleach or equivalent. Try squirting bleach into the innards of a sazaphone, and I think you would get very sour notes coming out of it afterwards.

I suppose you could always irradiate it.
