Art Deco design covers an almost endless range of objects, which many peolple admire and covet.
This thread is for photographs and chat about all such things, from Wristwatches to Buildings.
Please feel free to bring in whatever you have.

I've designed this book cover for SB so that he can teach himself the fundamentals of one of the greatest design periods of the 20th century.
Mind you when he sees the thread title he probably won't even read it -ha ha, only joking SB.

Hi John
I totally respect the work involved and the design standards and concepts of Art Deco, I totally understand why some people love it. I am just not made keen on some of it. Clarice Clift ( I think that's her name ) wouldn't interest me in the slightest. But we all have to respect other peoples views don't we. SB

Funny you should say that SB, Clarice Cliff, she yes a woman, has no interest for me either, also I can't stand Piccaso or any form of modern art.
I like realism where it looks like a photograph, now that's art, very clever, and hard to do.

Exactly my view Signman.
If I look at a painting of, let's say a horse, then I expect to see a horse, I'm not at all interested in an impression of a horse, I can get that after a bottle of Vodka.

You do not have to be some great art expert to understand something that is beautiful and that has class.

I do apologise for changing Clarice Cliffs sex, I'm sure she won't mind. Well actually, I don't give a toss.
