had a cracking weekend weather good just a bit of rain first thing sat morning....trip to the summit was awesome..i thought i was on the moon![[Little LOL]](http://files.homepagemodules.de/b205004/a_149_77eae71e.gif){kind=small}
very cold and windy at the top.. took a few piccies from the window of the train but they really do not do the scenery justice..will sort a few out tomorrow and post..small detour on the way back this morning to drive over horseshoe pass...oh lordy lordy how scary was that but stunning...also spotted 2 birds of prey up there cant be sure what they were though...duck..geese and gulls surrounded the van this morning for their brekkie

hi astwood...i think we may have...passed through a few lovely places but i cant be sure about llanberis..they say the weather for wales all week will be good..get yourself there if you can

So glad you had a good time lyn ,been over horseshoe pass on a motorbike years ago ,still remember the view from the top fantastic ,but drove very carefully,waiting to see pic,s.

jo there were quite a few bikers on horeseshoe pass parked outside the ponderosa cafe and b and b at the top...
hope you get to the van astwood..make the most of the good weather if you can..

Went to rhyl for a caravan holiday ,went specially that way to see the horseshoe pass.

My great grandads farm is near the horseshoe pass we were in the

the cafe seems a popular stopping place astwood..next time i am over that way i will stop there and take some pics..didnt really have much time today as we were on way back home..
