Weekend In Snowdonia

hi folks..had a wonderful weekend in snowdonia...wall to wall sunshine on sat and sun from 7 in the morning till 7 at night..cant believe how lucky i was...packed a lot into the 2 days...trip on the the ffestiniog railway..stunning views...went to portmeirion where the tv programme the prisoner was made...very sureal and wacky...visited harlech castle..went to black rock beach..golden sands there...will sort some photos out over the next couple of days...im tired now and in need of a rest

Sounds like you had a great time ,glad the weather was kind to you , it makes such a difference , if the weather is decent .

my brother is camping next weekend snowdonia way...dont envy him....weather permitting he will also walk up it...

I expect all the sunshine was due to the altitude, you were higher than the clouds.

Just got back from north wales we went all round the Lleyn peninsula
and the Nant Ffrancon pass in snowdonia went to the Ty Coch Inn but
it was still closed for the winter then we picked up the sons wife and
her mother from the ferry in holy head then home via the horseshoe
pass lovely weather for the time of year
