Well done Volty, some great links here. I have just been studying New Street Station in the 1960s just as I remember most of it of course. There is even a picture of the Turntable at New Street. A very important piece of equipment long gone but New Street was a terminal Station as well as a straight through one. Many engines needed to be turned for the return journey. Being below ground new Street was always interesting but is was a filthy hole, I loved it. Along with Snow Hill which wasn't as busy but always full of Great Western atmosphere.
