This was on central news tonight ,it suprised me ,it said give the duck's lettuce,never heard that before.

it's strange how wrong we can be Jo, Many people have a baby rabbit and the first thing they do is give it lettuce. Lettuce can be a deadly poison to rabbits. Cabbage is what they should have. if you wash vegetables for rabbits it must be dried off before feeding it to them or will make them ill.

Found something about that in a library book some time back .it also said never give rabbit's clover,thought that was o k .

What the Chinese do to Ducks is bad, feeding them bread is a minor inconvenience by comparison.

Nearly, the stick is a skewer and they aim for the heart. It takes a while to mince the heart and kill the duck.
But as the duck is still packaged up for transporting it doesn't get a say in the matter.
