HI All
Birmingham companies that have now gone and and I'm hoping to resarrect one of them. I currently run a company based in the Custard factory and I want to establish another one there, I have found a company name of an old Birmingham company called Bliss Brothers and wanted to resurrect this one. Does anybody have any ideas how I can find information out about this company? our new range of lighting / door handles etc all made in Birmingham and wanted to name the new range after the old owners of this Birmingham company. any ideas welcome

Hello Sidpandy, Welcome to the forum.
I can't see how you can resurrect someone else's company, the most you can do is use their name, as long as no one else is already using it in a similar line of business.
There is no Bliss Brothers listed at companies house even though google shows that there was an entry until recently.

Kelly's directories may give an address or even an advert.
Where did you find the name in the first place? That may prove to be the best source of information.

There is no Bliss Bros. in the 1973 or 1962 Kellys, but the 1956 edition lists:
Bliss Brothers Limited, button mfrs. 50/52 Alston st 16.T A " Ornaments, Bhm 16 " ; Edgbaston 2068
