If this is as good as it sounds it could be the biggest story of the century , it would offer hope to so many people.

Saw this on the evening news ,it could offer hope to thousands of people, lets hope they keep on trying ,I remember the first heart transplant, people said that would never do any good but how wrong they were.

Fantastic news this, I heard the Neurosurgeon being interviewed at lunchtime he seemed very positive.

It's given hope to people who had none,if they continue they will improve the lives of so many ,it will be worth every penny they spend.

It sounds too simple to be true.
Perhaps scientists are over thinking some other maladies while the answer is already within us.

Hardly simple
But then maybe some of the best solutions are.

Did you see the Australian doctors this week who replaced a mans heel, he had cancer in the heel - normally they chop off the leg, they took a scan of his good heel, the computers created the mirror image as a plan for the other foot, they printed it out on a 3D printer, cut the bad heel off and replaced it with the new one, after 2 weeks he can bear 75% of his weight, will be off crutches in three more weeks, amazing first of it type.
it makes you wonder what bones and stuff they will be able to print out in the furture

Very interesting TCA, I can see we have a lot to look forward to with 3D printing, especially as a small adjustment will be able to change a size, it means that a surgeon won't have to carry a range of sizes of spare parts he can print them off as required. It should be able to keep prices down eventually too.
