Mike, perhaps it got ideas above it's station and spontanously combusted anyway.

It's a good job however you look at it. Another horrible pub bites the dust and now someone on the planning fast track can build a billion flatlets with parking for three small cars.

plus volty now its caught fire depending on the damage it will have saved the council a bit of money on demo work...

I think The Bromford was an M&B pub and maybe they sold the land to the Council. M&B have been buying and selling land and assets all over the place.

pretty sure thats whats happened...same thing has happened with king edward lichfield road..council compulsary purchased...scaff is now round it ready for demo...
