New Sort Of Nuisance Telephone Call

Over the last 9 months or so i have had a lot of these unrequested calls, as probably have many of you. Today I received a new sort. Starting off by saying he understood i had been having these calls. Then saying he could help me "for only £1-80 a month over 3 years" and they would contact the people for me and make sure I was removed from their lists, EVEN CALLS FROM OVERSEAS, and by "paying £65 now for the whole 3 years I could get it for that fixed sum, so it would not go up with inflation". I put the phone down then. I don't know if it was a random call or if some will-maker, or charity that I had sounded off to very vocally had passed on my number.

Mike that sounds well dodgy.
uninvited nuisance call are a real pain, we get some that come up as International.

Next time he rings, tell him you have already paid someone to thump nuisance callers and he can expect a visit, even if he is overseas.

and if that dont work tell them your solicitor handles all of your financial affairs and would they like his name and number....

Best thing to do ,keep a whistle by your phone,if you get a funny call blow it down the phone they wont bother you again.

I'm with Mike, football is always bad news.
The days of not being able to go into town on match days are long gone but never forgotten.
