I grew up in Sparkhill during the 40's, 50's and 1960's and now I'm living in Sweden in retirement, just 6km from the geeographical centre of the country....
It's a long, long way from Sparkhill and Sparkbrook in more ways than one....!
I'm very interested in the local history of Birmingham and look forward to reading through the posts....
