UPDATE...


as i have not yet received the promised email from chris taft at the british postal museum and archives and no phone call back from the erdington sorting office that i personally visited last monday i have now emailed the approprate person at the evening mail...time to step things up now..will keep you all informed..

Lyn it's brilliant what you're doing about that plaque. I was lucky that my dad came home from the war but millions didn't. There are no real winners in any war but still it goes on around the world today, will we ever learn? I doubt it.
