The Birmingham Odeon

Scene of some wonderful concerts
Ive seen so many bands there over the years and it is such a shame that it has been under threat of being demolished

Had some good times in there as well, I suppose it's all in the name of progress, that's what they usually call it.

I can't recall ever going in the Odeon. I did go to the ABC once, that was also in New St, and remember seeing The exorcist in 1973 what a great film for them days.

Yes I do and also remember people being outside with information of who to contact if the film as affected you.

The back row/top floor of The ABC New Street was great for snogging, right up in the roof it was.
A bloke i used to work with Johnny Russell had been a projectionist there, he took me into the projection room to show me one day, it was a real eye opener.
