I can't recall ever going in the Odeon. I did go to the ABC once, that was also in New St, and remember seeing The exorcist in 1973 what a great film for them days.

I saw the Exorcist there then too. You remember the demonstrators outside that said we would all be damned to hell for watching it :-)?
The back row/top floor of The ABC New Street was great for snogging, right up in the roof it was. A bloke i used to work with Johnny Russell had been a projectionist there, he took me into the projection room to show me one day, it was a real eye opener.
