On Tuesday Jo and I + a couple of close relatives, visited a Fish and Chip shop with a difference. CHAMBERLAINS Fish and Chip Restaurant 8 Wolverhamton Road Oldbury is a chippie with a difference. Their fish and chips are excellent. Not only do they have a very good take away counter but inside is a superb restaurant, with nice clean comfortable decor, waitress service you can have wine with your meal or a beer/soft drinks etc. This is a really nice plaice (sorry place) for a chippy I have no hesitation in recommending it. Opposite the Caravan sales site. Buses 9 and 126 pass the door.http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=..._13868843331678

I don't think you can beat a good curry, the curry area around Ladypool road the old ones much better than the new ones I love curries and could live on them. When i went to Sri Lanka i eat curries for breakfast and dinner for 14 nights and loved it.

I recomend Champagne in Tamworth apart from the usually curries you can choose Ostrich, Crocadile, Kangaroo All very nice hope this is in the limits of this thread as its in Tamworth
I would like to nominate the drawbridge inn, drawbridge road shirley solihull, On my last three visits I have found lunch and dinner to be very good value, the main bar is spacious and I have been made welcome as "an aussie", being by the canal it is at its best in the summer
