The reporter can't quite get to grips with this one. He describes the Bow and Arrow as "Not Real".
They weren't even fake. They didn't exist. They weren't there.
The girl he pretended to fire at must have a vivid imagination as well.

What next, posers pretending to practice golf shots with an imaginary club and ball will be arrested for playing golf in inappropriate places?

Of course the kid in question might be a right nasty little shit and everyone just wants to get shut of him.

One thing I know for an absolute fact, it's really not too easy to have a child expelled from school. You need an awful lot of evidence, The Head needs agreement from the Governors and There is an appeals procedure to be followed by the Governors.

this school was in america..i could be wrong here but somewhere in the back of my mind i think ive read or was told that it is an offence in this country to take up the stance of shooting an imaginary gun...dont quote me on that though..

In America it probably is an offence to shoot an imaginary gun, that's why so many kids use real ones.

I doubt it is an offence, but it might get you killed.
But really, a bow and arrow?

What about pretending to fire a cannon, or press the button of the apocalypse, or throwing a hand grenade?
Pehaps that's why cricket isn't very big in yankee doodle idiot land.
